The Buki Sode Kagami (武器袖鏡) is a manual featuring illustrations of an assortment of weapons , clothing, armor, gear, and other information that reflects what were essential in Japan’s older traditions and warring history. It was created by Kurihara Nobumitsu and published in 1843. While some of the items shown represent a standard, others are from the possession of famous individuals and families.
